Because Tongits awards the winner additional winnings from the losers at the end of the game, to prevent players from leaving the game mid-play in an attempt to avoid losing the additional amounts at the end of the game, our Tongits game incorporates a Reserve amount for each player.
The Reserve amount is the total possible amount that could be lost if the winner had the maximum possible wins of the highest payouts and the loser had the worst possible hand (including the amount for being Burned).
- The Reserve amount is separate from the ante and is taken from each player’s table balance and held in escrow for each player. If a player leaves mid-game or disconnects, the Reserve amount is used to award the winner the amount due for winnings at the end of the game.
- All amounts due from the losers at the end of the game are taken from the Reserve and paid to the winner, then the remainder of each player’s reserve amount is moved back to the player’s table wallet.
- If a player does not have a table account balance that is equivalent to the ante and the Reserve, that player will be prompted to bring more funds to the table to continue play, or must leave the table. The minimum required to bring to the table is the equivalent of 1 game’s ante plus Reserve for that table.
